Community farms offers fun day out for families

by isleofman.com 30th August 2014

You can meet the animals and help plant crops in poly-tunnels at the community farm run by the Children's Centre today (30 August).

Based at Wallberry Farm off the Old Castletown Road near Douglas, the facility's throwing open its gates and hosting an open day from 10.30-3.30pm.

As there is no parking on site, you should leave your vehicle at Kewaigue School car park before getting on the free shuttle bus which departs every 15 minutes.

The only advice from organisers is wear appropriate footwear and clothes and be prepared to get dirty!
