A motorcyclist has died following an accident on the Creg Ny Baa back road.
The incident happened around 1.15 this afternoon and is understood to have involved just one bike.
Police have closed the road between the Creg ny Baa hotel and the junction with the B12/B20 roads and police have asked the public not to use the route between the Creg ny Baa and Laxey.
The Mountain Road remains open to traffic.
