Seminar for prospective small-business owners

The Department of Economic Development is hosting a seminar to help those thinking of setting up their own business.
The event will showcase the government’s Small Business Start Up Scheme, marking its hundredth course since it was set up in 1996.
The seminar starts at 5.30pm on Wednesday, September 10 at The Forum on Mount Havelock, in Douglas.
There’ll be a chance to hear from two of the scheme’s successful alumni, Carl Underwood of Laser Mayhem and Andy Turner of Isle of Man Trike Tours.
