Medical flight company bought

by isleofman.com 28th August 2014
The company which provides emergency back-up to medical services in the Isle of Man has been bought out.

Exeter-based Capital Air Charter also runs charter flights and freight services throughout Europe.

Earlier this week, the Rigby Group announced it had bought the firm, which has eight aircraft, and employs 35 full-time staff on the Island as well as in Exeter and Jersey.

Capital Air Charter will continue to operate under its own brand as normal, and Rigby Group says it hopes to expand the company’s market share over the next few years by developing its medical services and contracted charters.
