Cici's fundraising passes the ?1000 mark

by isleofman.com 27th August 2014
A young Manx girl has now raised over ?1000 for an injured TT marshal.
Seven-year-old Cici Reed began growing and selling sunflowers to add a little sunshine to travelling marshal Paul Hunt’s recovery.
He is being treated for spinal injuries after he came of his bike whilst inspecting the course in TT practice week.
Cici’s new venture - bike “buddies” - has been impressing visitors during the Festival of Motorcycling.
The St John’s primary school pupil attended the Marshal’s dinner on Monday night, and generous donations took her fundraising into four figures.
And she says she’ll continue raising money for Paul until Christmas.
