Manx Financial Group says its first-half pre-tax profit has more than doubled compared to the same period last year.
In a statement, the group, including Conister Bank, Conister Card Services, and Edgewater Associates, revealed it made a ?755,000 pre-tax profit in the six months to June 30, compared with ?305,000 last year.
The company says an increase in bank lending and decrease in employment and other establishment costs helped its performance.
In its unaudited results, it says personnel and other establishment costs fell by 3 per cent to ?2.4 million over the first six months of 2014.
