Cash stolen from TT charity

by isleofman.com 27th August 2014

Heartless thieves stole banknotes from a charity box in a bike museum in Kirk Michael.

Around ?100 was taken that would have been used to help injured motorcyclists and their families.

Owner of the A.R.E classic bike collection and secretary of the Isle of Man section of the Vintage Motor Cycle Club, Tony East said: 'It's disappointing as most of our visitors are bikers and our main charity is the TT Riders' Association which helps injured riders and their families in times of need.'

Mr East said he hoped the culprit would have an 'attack of conscience' and return the money.
