The delayed Okells 350cc Classic turned into a classic race with records falling all over the place.
First Allan Oversby and William Dunlop took the old time apart but then Lee Johnston raised the bar to 105 miles per hour, putting himself at the top of the field in the process.
He continued to increase his advantage to win by a comfortable 45.3 seconds over Oversby with Roy Richardson in third place after Dunlop retired midway through the final lap.
The race was run over three laps after yesterday’s postponement.
Tom Jackson was the winner of the 250cc race.
