by isleofman.com 23rd August 2014
It's the first race day at the this year's Festival of Motorcycling.

There's also plenty more Mountain Course-based entertainment to keep the thousands of bikers who've flocked to the Island for the event happy.

Roads are due to close at 9.30am, with a practice session and the Rudge Anniversary / VMCC Parade Lap taking up the morning.

The day's race, the four-lap Bennetts 500cc Classic TT is scheduled to start at 12.30pm.

Another practice session follows, then it's time for one of the highlights of the Classic TT schedule, the Joey Dunlop Road Racing Legend Parade Lap.

TT and Motorsport Development Manager Paul Phillips explains how it will play out:Clip 1
