by isleofman.com 22nd August 2014
Two-thirds of people in a survey think it’s acceptable to introduce a charge for school buses.

That’s just one of the findings of the Department of Infrastructure's consultation into parking and bus charges across the Island.

The department is trying to find ?5million of savings over a 12 month period.

Of those who replied to the consultation, 54% are in favour of charging each child 50p to get the bus to school.
