Head of Marshals' Association issues apology

by isleofman.com 20th August 2014
The head of the TT Marshals' Association has apologised to the marshals stuck on the Mountain last night (TUES).
The road remained closed between Lheaney Road (near the Ramsey Hairpin) to the Bungalow until 11.45pm.
It was due to a fatal incident in which 39-year old MGP rider Stephen McIlvenna from Randalstown, Northern Ireland, lost his life.
Mr McIlvenna was well known at the Manx Grand Prix, having first competed at the MGP in 2005. He won the Junior MGP four years later.
Chairman of the association, Terry Holmes
