Keep roads safe during festival say police

by isleofman.com 20th August 2014
There has been a plea for people using the Mountain Road during the Festival of Motorcycling to do so responsibly.
It's come from the Roads Policing Unit as more race fans arrive ahead of the first race on Saturday.
Speaking on Manx Radio last night, Sergeant Will Moffatt of the RPU says riders and drivers need to take extra care when the road is busy and remember that unlike the TT period, the road remains open to two-way traffic throughout the festival.
