Appeal for witnesses after woman is bitten by dog

Police in Douglas are investigating an incident in which a woman was bitten by a dog.
It happened by Clypse Reservoir around midday last Friday (August 15), when two dogs being walked in the area started fighting.
The woman owner of one of the animals was bitten on the thigh by a Staffordshire-type dog and suffered puncture wounds and bruising.
The walker of the Staffordshire-type dog is described as a blonde woman who was wearing gym clothes – ? length black lycra pants and a vest top.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police headquarters on 631 212.
