Inquests to open into road deaths

An inquest into the death of hospital worker and well known local athlete Kate Burge is due to open later on today.


The 41 year old physiotherapist (pictured) who lived in Lonan was killed when her bicycle was in a collision with a car on the main road in Kirk Michael on August 4.


The inquest into the death of motorcyclist Neil Walker, 43, will also open today. The Ramsey man, a joiner and retained fire fighter, died in a collision with a car on the Laxey to Ramsey coast road near Bulgham Rocks.
