The deadline is fast approaching for talented Island students to apply for financial support from a new scheme, to help them take-up a university place.
Software firm Microgaming is offering educational bursaries worth up to ?6000 per year, to fund accommodation and living costs.
The awards are aimed at the most academically able students who have secured a place on a degree course, but would struggle financially living away from home.
Applications for the bursary are being handled by the Department of Education and the deadline is next Wednesday, 20 August.
