Island's ?50,000 aid for Gaza

The Isle of Man government has donated ?50,000 to ease the plight of those suffering in Gaza.

The International Development Committee of the Council of Ministers has announced it’ll split the money between two organisations battling the humanitarian crisis.

Human Appeal International and HelpAge International will supply food packs, medical kits, medicines and emergency healthcare and shelter.

Weeks of conflict between Israel and Hamas have left people in Gaza in desperate need of food, shelter and medical supplies.
