Harvest Season is upon us as Microgaming yields its Sweet Harvest Tournament slot

by isleofman.com 14th August 2014
Microgaming has expanded its multi-player offering by launching a Sweet Harvest tournament slot.

Sweet Harvest is a five reel, 20 payline video slot where players can escape into scenic vistas and experience a taste of farming life. The game is sure to keep players sweet with wild and scatter pays. Keep a look out for the scatter barn symbol; three or more will trigger free spins with stacked wilds. During free spins, when the game’s young lovers land adjacent to one another on a winning payline, the game delivers an extra 2x multiplier!

Originally launched on the Casino platform in August 2013, this popular game has been adapted into a tournament slot and is now live with Microgaming operators. The game has been selected for use in August’s Accumulator tournament. Entry is just €1 and there is a starting prize pool of €500 which increases with player re-buys and add-ons. There are 150 prizes in total to be won!

James Ford, spokesperson for Microgaming's multi-player games, comments: “We’ve had a busy few months with multi-player. Not only have we continued with our monthly new games releases, such as Sweet Harvest tournament slot, but we’ve also had one of our biggest ever multi-player tournaments, Reels de Janeiro. And there’s no sign of things slowing down; our operators and their players can expect more games and more big tournaments in the coming months!”

Microgaming’s multi-player network tournament, Reels de Janeiro, ended on Thursday 31st July, after seven weeks of thrilling game play. The Shoot!-based event had a gigantic prize pool of €175,000 with 75 players winning cash prizes. The top five players (herzen, Boracatus, oceanspray, Thndr8 and Moretimer64) took home €10,000 apiece!
