The dedication of green fingered Douglas residents is being praised by a town councillor.
Chair of the Regeneration and Community Committee Stephen Pitts is hailing the allotment plots at Johnny Watterson’s Lane a great success.
They first started four years ago, with the second phase becoming available 18 months ago.
Mr Pitts has toured the plots this summer, and says people are producing great crops thanks to a good deal of hard work.
