Farmer's contribution to Manx agriculture honoured

A Manx farmer, and Manx Radio presenter, has been honoured for his hard work in the industry.

John Kennaugh was made a life member of the Manx National Farmers’ Union at the Royal Agricultural Show at Knockaloe yesterday.

John was the president of the MNFU for ten years and the honour is also extended to his wife Margaret, and his daughter Carol for their service to the union and John’s contribution to Manx agriculture in general.

In accepting the honour, he paid tribute to his family.

The Royal show continues today (Sat) at Knockaloe.
