Flooding meeting tonight

by isleofman.com 7th August 2014
Six months after the storms and flooding which devastated parts of the Island, one of the worst hit areas is to hold a public meeting tonight.

The meeting takes place at St Mary’s on the Harbour at seven o’clock.

Castletown MHK Richard Ronan will join civic heads to discuss what can be done to protect the town in future and examine what lessons have been learned from previous flooding.

Flooding and storms damaged a number of homes and led to parts of the town's sea defences collapsing.

Mr Ronan admits part of the town took a real battering:Clip 1
