Gandy in a good place at St Andrews

by isleofman.com 7th August 2014

A Manxman is tied in fourth place after the first round of the invitation-only International European Amateur Championship.
It has an entry of Europe's 144 best golfers and is being held over the Dukes Course at St Andrews.
Rowany Golf Club's Tom Gandy had a late call to compete, and with a 2 under par 69 on the testing Scottish venue, he is well placed to make the cut after 36 holes and progress to the final two rounds.
The leader Gary Hurley is on 66.
