Cavendish due back in action next week

by isleofman.com 6th August 2014

Mark Cavendish will contest next week’s Tour de l'Ain in what will be his first race since crashing on the opening stage of the Tour de France.

The Manx Missile dislocated his shoulder and suffered ligament damage in a crash near the end of the first stage of the Tour and subsequently had surgery.
It ruled him out of the remainder of the tour and the Commonwealth Games.

The five-day stage race in eastern France starts on Tuesday.
