The Vikings are coming - again!

by isleofman.com 4th August 2014

The world's largest Viking replica longship will be returning to Peel harbour tomorrow morning in full mast.

The vessel, which caused a stir when it paid a brief visit to the Isle of Man last month, en route from Norway to the UK, is back with a repaired mast. The Draken Harald Harfagre had been rowed into Peel after her mast snapped off in rough sea conditions. Now, she can be seen in full splendour having had her mast repaired in Merseyside.

Sailing conditions are said to be perfect for today's journey. The crew hopes to be able to stay until Wednesday.
