New marketing courses on-Island

by isleofman.com 4th August 2014
A marketing qualification could be the gateway to a successful career in the industry, and both a certificate and diploma are backed by the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

To find out more, there's an open morning at the MPES study centre,  41-45 Duke Street  in Douglas (above Harmony Homes).

Local tutor, Heather Blackley (nee Smallwood) will be available from 10am to 1pm on Monday 11th August to explain what is involved.

Heather is well known in the local marketing arena having previously tutored many courses at the Isle of Man Business School with over 100 people gaining their marketing qualifications. She also worked for a number of years for Isle of Man Government and was instrumental in delivering many key marketing projects in this setting.

Marketing is often misunderstood being seen as the ‘fluffy’ part of a key business plan, but nothing could be further from the truth as is borne out in this month’s Harvard Business News articles.

Courses will start at MPES study centre in September. To find out more about either the CIM Level 4 certificate in professional marketing or CIM level 6 diploma in professional marketing why not come along on 11th August.

If you can’t make that day but would like more details please ring Heather on 451246, email hsmallwood@manx.net or visit http://www.marketingpartnership.im/marketing-consulting .
