Show and Tell on World War battlefield

A retired GP with an interest in First World War medicine is speaking at the Manx Museum this afternoon (Saturday).
It’s part of the museum’s 'Show and Tell' sessions, which are running in conjunction with the exhibition ‘This Terrible Ordeal’ to mark the 100th anniversary of the start of the war.
Dr Andrew Kelsey will be talking about the treatment of wounds during WWI and the advances in medical knowledge developed in those years.
The event’s free to attend and visitors are welcome to drop-in between 2-4pm.
