Ramsey Police appeal for witness following alleged collision on Mountain

by isleofman.com 1st August 2014

Ramsey Police are appealing for witnesses to a driving incident that is alleged to have happened on Tuesday 22nd July 2014 on the A18 Mountain Road between Guthrie’s Memorial and the Mountain Mile. At approximately 8.15am a white high top van, blue Audi and black BMW M3 were heading towards Douglas. The Police are investigating an allegation that the Audi and BMW have collided, whilst still behind the white van.

It is believed a silver car (of unknown make and model) has been travelling in the opposite direction towards Ramsey. Police need to speak to the drivers of either the white van, silver car or anyone else who may have witnessed anything pertinent that morning. No-one was hurt in this incident, and none of the vehicles involved stopped at the scene as a result of the alleged collision.

If anyone has any information please contact PC Mark Hempsall at Ramsey Police Station.
