Death driver accused committed to higher court

A Peel teenager charged with causing death by dangerous driving has been committed to a court of General Gaol.
Eighteen year-old Craig Ryan Bridgewater was driving on the Switchback Road, near Peel, on March the eighth when an incident resulted in the death of Lucia Porter.
The 14 year-old from Onchan was a passenger in the car.
Mr Bridgewater appeared in court on Thursday.
The other offences he’s accused of – driving without insurance and not complying with the terms of a provisional licence - have both been adjourned for a date to be fixed.
