Rowany golfer Tom Gandy has narrowly missed out on making the last 16 at the English Amateur Championship at Saunton Golf Club in Devon.
Having beaten world-ranked number 21 Paul Howard yesterday by a 2 & 1 margin, Tom was up against the world number 18 Ryan Evans.
The match finished level after 18 holes and Tom lost at the first hole in a sudden-death play-off.
