It was another great day for Team Isle of Man yesterday with Grace Harrison in the gymnastics individual final, Cristen Marritt and Kim Clague winning their first round match in the Badminton Women’s Doubles and high jumper Reagan Dee in action in the qualification heats at Hampden Park.
In the gymnastics Grace Harrison competed brilliantly in the individual competition. She finished 21st overall which was a great result in her first Commonwealth Games.
Cristen Marritt and Kim Clague won their women’s doubles match in the Badminton against their opponents from Jamaica in two sets.
Reagan Dee competed well in the High Jump qualification matching her season’s best height and just failing to equal her personal best.
Badminton continues with Cristen Marritt and Kim Clague in their second round doubles match against the number 1 seeds from Singapore.
The Cycling Road Racing gets under way with the Individual Time Trial for both men and women. Anna Christian and Laura Wasley get under way just after 10am with Andrew Roche in his seventh games, Mark Christian and Joe Kelly later this afternoon.
