A highly coveted building industry accolade has been awarded to Chris Corkhill, site manager at Hartford Homes stunning development of luxury properties at Palm Winds, Ramsey.

The ‘Pride in the Job’ award, which comes from the National House Building Council (NHBC), is regarded as one of the industry’s most prestigious.    It recognises the   commitment to quality and exceptional standards achieved in every aspect of work on the construction of the five contemporary homes at Palm Winds with only one still remaining for sale.

The award itself was made to the site manager Chris Corkhill, who has worked for the Douglas-based and family run company since 1995.  He has been selected from over 13,000 site managers across the UK.

Mr Corkhill said: “Winning this award is recognition not just for me but for the whole team involved in the Palm Winds development.”

Hartford Homes managing director James Greenhalgh said: “Chris is a site manager of considerable experience and we are delighted he has won this award. We are proud of the homes we build and the efforts the team go to in delivering excellence in property which has resulted in several industry awards.  We are delighted for all who make this possible and take part.”

Mr Greenhalgh added:  “Our current investment plans to develop future sites around the island will hopefully result in further industry recognition as we continue to deliver pioneering designs to meet the increasingly high aspirations of new home buyers.” ENDS
