Manx swimmer Grant Halsall is through to the Men's 50m Backstroke semi-finals.
He broke the Island record by nearly half-a-second at the Tollcross pool with a time of 26.51 seconds to finish 13th fastest.
But heartbreak for Charlotte Atkinson who missed out on a semi-final sport in the Women's 50m Butterfly by one-hundredth-of-a-second.
She finished 17th with a time of 27.63 seconds.
