Four Manx swimmers have qualified for semi-finals at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Charlotte Atkinson was 11th in the 100m Butterfly and Grant Halsall came 15th in the 100m Backstroke.
Laura Kinley and Niamh Robinson have both qualified for the semi-finals of the 50m Breaststroke.
Laura was 12th in a new Island record of 31.97 seconds while 14 year-old Niamh was the last of the 16 qualifiers.
Both girls were delighted with their performances - starting with Laura Kinley:-
Niamh Robinson's mum Suzanne, who swam for the Isle of Man at the 1990 Auckland Games, was in the crowd and very proud of her daughter:-
Alex Bregazzi won this morning's opening heat of the Men's 400m Freestyle but his time of 4 minutes, 12.59 seconds placed him in 24th place amongst the 28 taking part.
And Guy Davies smashed his best previous time in the 200m Breaststroke by over 5 seconds to set a new Island record of 2 minutes 19.72 seconds but missed out on a place in the final.
This afternoon, Andrew Nash competes in the Triathlon.
Meanwhile at the Games Village, gymnast and Team Captain Alex Hedges and cyclist Laura Wasley were amongst the athletes who enjoyed lunch with the Queen.
