2013 MGP Newcomer dies

News has reached the Manx Motor Cycle Club that Dave Mason a Newcomer at the 2013 Manx Grand Prix has passed away in Medowie, Australia at the age of 61 years.

Dave finished 18th in Newcomer B race and 43rd in the Supertwin Manx Grand Prix.

His sponsors were Team George IoM; Rob Cummings and Kath Adamson IoM; Russ Henley; Cycle Torque Australia; and, D Moto.

His most recent win, before the 2013 Manx Grand Prix, was the Period 5 Formula 750cc Australian Historic Championship at Sydney Motorsport Park in November 2012.

The Manx Motor Cycle Club wishes to convey their sincere condolences at this sad time to his family and friends.
