Rugby team pulls Citywing plane to victory

by isleofman.com 15th July 2014

Douglas Rugby Club has taken first place at the Citywing Plane Pull event.
Held at the company’s Ronaldsway hangar, the event attracted teams from a variety of Manx businesses and organisations, as well as a children’s team.
All the teams manged to beat last year’s time record for pulling the plane along the 34-yard stretch, and raised money for Citywing’s 2014 charity Manx Cancer Help.
The company's Managing Director David Buck says the charity event will definitely be back next year.
