Barclays staff encourage young business minds

by isleofman.com 15th July 2014

Staff from Barclays Wealth and Investment Management have been mentoring Douglas school pupils as part of the Junior Achievement Enterprise Challenge.
Over three weeks they volunteered to help and encourage St Ninian’s Lower School pupils who were split into teams and tasked with organising a pop concert.
From marketing to budgetary planning, the challenge aimed to improve the confidence of the Year 7 pupils.
Manx charity Junior Achievement helps young people develop their employability, and supports more than 5,000 young people in education on the Island.
