The fine weather has meant that all programmed matches in the Equiom Open Junior which is being held this week at the club have gone ahead and the standard of play has pleased club professional, Ian Watson. “I am excited about the standard of players in all groups but particularly the 10 &under and 12 & under. They have worked hard in coaching sessions and it really shows.” said Ian.
Finals Day is this Saturday 12 July and Mrs Sheila Dean MD of Equiom will be there to present the prizes at approximately 4pm and this will be followed by our usual Finals Day tea.

Chrystals Senior Open will be held from 2 – 9 August and entry forms will be available at the weekend. Events are men’s/women’s singles and doubles and mixed doubles. There will be good cash prizes and vouchers for booking the indoor court.

Members please note that the out door courts will close on 11 August for the contractors to start the re-surfacing programme. The indoor court will still be available for use – just book on line on the club website albanyltc.co.uk.
