Manxman Kneen Doubles Up at Kells

Making his debut at the Carole Nash Kells Road Races, round 10 of the Duke Road Race Rankings Dan Kneen gave himself an early birthday present as he clinched a double Superbike victory.

It was the Manxman's fifth win from six Superbike races at Irish national meetings this season, which began at the Cookstown 100 in April, he then took a brace of wins on his first appearance at the Tandragee 100 and added another two at this Duke Rankings round which now places him in eighth place an upward movement of five.

There are no changes in the top seven in the latest table although there are a further seven upward movements in the top thirty after the Kells event.

Michael Sweeney 10th from 22nd; Jamie Hamilton 11th from 16th; Derek McGee 15th from 24th; Seamus Elliott 17th from 26th; Barry Davidson 25th from 32nd; Derek Sheils 26th from 33rd and Connor Behan 30th from 40th.

Round 11 of the Duke Road Race Rankings takes place on Friday and Saturday 27th & 28th June, and is followed by three rounds within nine days, the Skerries Road Races on Friday and Saturday 4th & 5th July; The Southern 100 International Road Races, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 7th, 8th, 9th & 10th July, then the Walderstown Roads Races on Saturday and Sunday 12th & 13th July.
