Champion Moore out of Golf Championships

Defending Grant Thornton Isle of Man Golf Champion Kevin Moore is out after losing his last sixteen tie at Castletown last night.
He lost on the first extra hole to 2008 winner Jonathan Corke.
Rowany player Tom Gandy beat four-time Champion Paul Lowey 3&2 in a high quality affair.
2010 winner Darryl Callister won 5&3 and will now play his close friend Tom Gandy in the quarter-finals.
Peter Glover won 2&1 against Donald Beggs, Stephen Skillicorn won by 1 hole against Andrew Challenor, Robert Nixon beat Mark Sutton 5&3, Alex McAuley saw off Steven Boyd 3&2 and Tom Harris won by the same score against Michael Curphey.
This evening's quarter-finals are:-
4.30pm - Jonathan Corke v Peter Glover
4.40pm - Stephen Skillicorn v Robert Noon
4.50pm - Darryl Callister v Tom Gandy
5.00pm - Alex McAuley v Tom Harris
