by isleofman.com 16th June 2014

Well, if you haven’t managed to get a Google I/O ticket this year, or are just unable to travel all the way to San Francisco, Code Club are hosting a local event that will let you experience Google I/O 2014 remotely, right here in the Isle of Man.

Watch sessions live and connect with other developers! Part viewing experience and part community building, I/O Extended includes everything from live streaming the Google I/O content to local developer demos, hackspaces and the opportunity to share your knowledge and tap into other IOMbased developers.

Code Club are live-streaming the whole conference with sessions that include:

• What’s new in Android
• Zero to hero with Google Cloud Platform
• Cross-platform design
• Android Wear: The developer’s perspective
• Robotics in a new world and many others.

Pizza, coffee and other drinks will be provided on both days thanks to the kind sponsorship of MICTA.
