Sign up for online tax services

by isleofman.com 13th June 2014

The 6th October deadline for submitting 2013/14 personal tax returns is now just over three months away and the Income Tax Division is taking this opportunity to remind everyone about our online services.

1 in 5 individual taxpayers now submit their tax returns online.

There are a wide range of existing services which allow people to receive tax returns, assessments, tax codes and letters electronically and calculate their tax liability immediately after completing their online return. Users can also review their balances, pay their tax bills and receive refunds of income tax overpayments paid directly into their bank account.

People wishing to register should go to www.gov.im/onlineservices and select ‘Income Tax’ where video guides to assist in completion of the registration and enrolment process and their tax return can also be viewed. Assistance can also be provided in completing the process either in person at the Income Tax Division or by telephoning 685400.

Online Government Services can also be used to pay rates and electricity bills, Vehicle Tax and Penalty Notices.
