MIFA hopeful over ConIFA European Championship bid

by isleofman.com 10th June 2014
The Manx International Football Alliance has made a bid to host the ConIFA European Championships in the Isle of Man next year.
The bid follows the unexpected success of the Ellan Vannin team at the ConIFA World Football Cup in Sweden.
The team began the tournament as 250-1 outsiders, but made it to the final, only losing on penalties.
Malcolm Blackburn, chief executive of the Manx International Football Alliance, hopes to find out if the bid is successful in the next couple of months.
But, he says we’re not the only nation hoping to host it in 2015:Clip 1
