MHK calls for football bodies to work together

by isleofman.com 5th June 2014
An MHK who backed the creation of a new local football body hopes they can work closely with the Isle of Man Football Association to further promote the Manx game.
Chris Thomas last year added his support to the formation of the Manx International Football Alliance, independent of the FA.
It led to the Ellan Vannin team being set up and representing the Island successfully at the Conifa World Cup in Sweden.
West Douglas member Mr Thomas hopes it will lead to the two organisations working together in the near future.
