MUA warning about calls

by isleofman.com 5th June 2014
The Manx Utilities Authority is warning people not to fall for a scam, which could be a set-up for a burglary.

The MUA says it’s had a number of reports of people getting phone calls asking for access to properties because of an electrical fault.

The callers also ask what electrical items people have in their homes.

The advice is not to give out any personal information and let the authority know about the calls on 687687.
