English Longbow title for local archer

Lesley Sleight has won the Ladies Longbow class in the English Field Archery Association National Bowhunter Championships.
The two-day championship was hosted by White Mark Bowmen in High Wycombe.
The championship courses were extremely testing and challenged everybody.
Lesley won by a margin of more than 100 points.
She said, "Winning the English Bowhunter Championships has given me a lot of confidence.
"Next week I travel to Confolens in France to compete for England in the International Field Archery Association (IFAA)European Bowhunter Championships.
"During the week-long competition there will be five courses laid out and each course will have 28 3-D targets of unmarked distances.
"Distances will range from 10 yards to 60 yards.
"There will be at least 40 archers in my Longbow Class and I look forward to competing at an International Level."
Lesley is a member of Bowderyn Vannin Field Archery Club and Isle of Man Archery Club.
