Last call for entries to KPMG Promenade Relay

by isleofman.com 4th June 2014

It looks like becoming a regular feature of the Island's burgeoning calendar of popular outdoor events for charity.
The KPMG Promenade Relay raised ?13,000 for Rebecca House children's hospice last year, its first.
So there was no hesitation the Douglas-based accountancy firm would run the 10k event a second time and so far 90 teams, including many corporate entries have signed-up.
Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research is KPMG's chosen charity for 2014.
Island firms have offered sponsorship, including The Claremont, ILS, Shoprite, Appleby, RL360, Richmond Travel and Microgaming.
The relay at 6pm on Friday 13 June also has the backing of Douglas Development Partnership.
Entries should be made via kpmg.co.im\promenaderelay by close of play on Friday 6 June.
Event organiser Paul Cawley told Marian Kenny the workforce is really getting behind it:
