Solid gold credit card announced

by isleofman.com 4th June 2014
An Isle of Man company has launched the world’s first solid gold credit card backed by gold.

The 14-carat card from IM Gold will mean its customers can borrow against te value of their gold stored in the company’s vault in Douglas.

Ed Pearce, the firm’s managing director, says the Bullion Card will allow people to access cash without selling the precious metal.

The card should be available later this year in both gold and plastic versions.
