'An ongoing piece of history'.
The words of member of the Department of Economic Development David Cretney at the end of TT 2014.
Early figures seem to suggest visitor numbers were up once again and it seems the event is attracting more fans every year.
Mr Cretney has been involved with the event for many years and during his times as Tourism Minister played an integral part in pushing the event forward.
He says the modernisation of the TT has been vital and says it was obvious to anyone there were more people around this year - and the extensive TV coverage has being encouraging people from around the globe to come here.Clip 1
