Another disrupted TT practice session, big bikes not allowed out

by isleofman.com 29th May 2014
The Sidecars were out first tonight, to give them the chance to get some laps in, but the session was disrupted again.
A medical emergency at Quarterbridge, involving a member of the public and unrelated to the session, led to the red flag coming out.
The session was able to resume, but the roads were wet up on the Mountain Road, meaning the warning flags were out.
It was, however, dry from Douglas to Ramsey, making conditions very tricky.
One of the big stories in the Sidecar paddock, away from the action, was the marriage of the passenger on the number 10 outfit, Kenny Cole, to his fiance Shirley Alvis at Douglas registry office.
He spoke to Chris Kinley before heading out on the course: (play audio)
The solos were finally able to go out, after 8pm, but only the Lightweights and Supersports - it was deemed too wet on the Mountain Road for the big bikes.Clip 1
