Sunny first practice session for TT2014

by isleofman.com 26th May 2014
After the disappointment of Saturday's washed out first TT practice session, tonight the riders had the chance to get a few laps under their belts in great conditions.
The sun was shining, and apart from a couple of small damp patches on the approach to Ramsey Hairpin and a low sun later on conditions were ideal.
First out were the solo and sidecar newcomers on the requisite speed-controlled lap.
Belgian rider Laurent Hoffman spoke to Manx Radio TT's Chris Palmer after his first circuit of the Mountain Course: (play audio)
Next up were the rest of the solos, which managed to get a few good laps in.
Bruce Anstey posted the fastest lap of the night, topping 127mph.
The sidecars were out last.
Experienced local campaigner Dave Molyneux, who has 16 TT Sidecar wins to his name, was the quickest.
He and passenger Patrick Farrance lapped at more than 114mph their second lap of the night.Clip 1
