by isleofman.com 19th May 2014
Island resident Cal Crutchlow was 11th as Marc Marquez continued his dominance so far this season in MotoGP.
World champion Marquez overcame a nightmare first lap to battle back from 10th to take the victory at the French Grand Prix at Le Mans.
He's the first rider since Giacomo Agostini in 1972 to win the first five races of the season.
The 21-year-old now has 125 points, giving him a 42-point championship lead over his Repsol Honda team mate Dani Pedrosa.
Ducati rider Crutchlow is sixteenth in the standings, with 15 points.
